How to Cancel Your Bitzaro Card

You can cancel your Bitzaro Card at any time from the app. Once cancelled, the card stops working immediately, you can move any remaining balance back to your Bitzaro Wallet, and you can request a fresh card later if you change your mind.

Before you cancel

  • Confirm there are no pending transactions you still expect to settle (subscriptions, hotel pre-authorisations, deposits).

  • Reduce your card balance to zero by spending it or by moving the balance back to your wallet — see step 2 below.

  • If your card was lost or stolen, freeze it first instead of cancelling so the dispute window stays open. See How to Freeze and Unfreeze Your Card.

Cancel your card

  1. Open the Bitzaro app and go to the Card tab.

  2. Tap your card, then Manage Card → Cancel Card.

  3. Choose what to do with any remaining balance: send it back to your Bitzaro Wallet (recommended) or spend it before cancelling.

  4. Confirm the cancellation. The card is deactivated instantly and cannot be re-activated.

What happens to your money

  • Any USD balance you choose to return is converted back to USDT at the live rate and credited to your Bitzaro Wallet.

  • The original reload fee is non-refundable.

  • Annual subscription fees already paid are not pro-rated.

  • Pending merchant authorisations may continue to settle for up to 30 days. If a merchant attempts to charge a cancelled card, the transaction is declined.

Refunds after cancellation

  • If a merchant issues a refund after your card is cancelled, contact us at [email protected] with the transaction details. We will work with the card processor to redirect the refund to your Bitzaro Wallet where possible.

  • Crypto-to-fiat conversions are non-reversible, so the refund is processed back as USD before being returned to your wallet.

Get a new card

  • You can apply for a new Bitzaro Card from the Card tab at any time. Standard issuance and annual fees apply.

  • Replacing a lost, stolen or damaged card is different from cancelling — see Card Replacement under Manage Card → Replace Card to keep your card programme active.

Note: If you suspect fraud on your card, do not cancel — freeze it first and contact [email protected] within 24 hours so the dispute and chargeback rights are preserved.
